Buildout Tools
Our buildout tools are designed to set the direction for Sermon Series, Events, Ministries, etc. that play a big role in your church. Because they are projects of a larger nature, they are treated differently than a one of digital or print designs and come with what we call a Moodboard Round and optional Feedback Round.
The Process:
Moodboard Round
Our team will take your inspiration or a moodboard that you have already curated and show you three options of the direction we would like to take the project. These three options are curated by our creative team based on the information you provide in your buildout submission, they are not all designed by our team. Once presented, you can choose which option of the three most resonates with your vision or combine elements from them, after which our team will work on and deliver a first draft where you can provide additional feedback - the Feedback Round.
Why does my project look different from the moodboard I selected?
Feedback Round
In the feedback round, we will take the moodboard inspiration from the moodboard round and send a first look of the design direction we are taking your project. With this first look, we will also send a form where you can give feedback on the project and make small changes as needed. It is important to note that this is an opportunity for feedback, not major art direction. While we welcome subjective feedback, we do not guarantee the final results will be able to incorporate all of your ideas and all suggestions are reviewed by the DPS Creative Team.
Some areas of context for feedback that we give are colors, photography, typography, and layout.
Deliverable Packs
Each buildout tool comes with deliverable packs to ensure you get the designs you need. Some tools, like our Sermon Series Buildout, offer more flexibility with deliverable packs, while others, like our Logo/Wordmark Build, come with set deliverables.
